ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE OF NOTICE
OF SALE OF ELECTRIC RFVENUE BONDS
WHEREAS, the City Counczl of the Czty of Denton, Texas,
deems it necessary and advzsable that the bonds hereznafter describ-
ed be authorized, zssued, sold, and delivered as soon as practzcable
THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
Section 1 That the Czty Counczl of the City of Denton,
Texas shall receive and consider sealed bzds, at a duly advertzsed
public sale, for an issue of C~ty of Denton Electric Revenue Bonds,
Serzes 1968, dated February 1, 1968, in the prznczpal amount of
$ ..... , at a Regular Meeting of the City Council to be held zn
the Municipal Buzlding in the City of Denton, Texas, at 8 00 o'clock,
p m on January 23, 1968
Sectzon 2 That the City's D~rector of Fznance and the
Czty Secretary shall proceed zmmedzately wzth the preparation of
an approprzate notice of sale in connectzon w~th sazd bonds, and
sazd notice of sale shall be publzshed once in The Bond Buyer,
New York, New Yozk, which is a natzonal publzcatzon regularly
and przmarily carrying financzal news and munzczpal bond sale
notices, and said notzce of sale also shall be publzshed once zn
the "Denton Chronzcle", whzch has been deszgnated as the offzcial
newspaper of the City of Denton Said publzcatzons shall be made
at least thirty days prior to the day set for recezving bids

We, the undersigned officers of said C~ty, hereby certify as
follows
1 The City Council of said City convened in
SPECIAL MEETING ON THE 19TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1967,
at the Municipal Building, and the roll was called of the duly con-
stituted officers and members of said City Council, to-wit
Brooks Holt, City Secretary Zeke Martin, Mayor
Warren Whltson, Jr J T Jones, Jr
L A Nelson Marvin Loveless
and all of said persons were present, except the following
absentees
thus constituting a quo~U~ Whereupon, among other business, the
following was transacted at said Meeting a written ORDINANCE
DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE O5 NOTICE OF SALE OF ELECTRIC REVENUE BONDS
was duly introduced for the consideration of said City Council and
read in full It was then duly moved and seconded that said Or-
dinance be passed, and, after due discussion, said motion, carrying
with it the passage of said Ordinance, prevailed and carried by the
following vote

2 That a true, full, and correct copy of the aforesaid Or-
dinance passed at the Meeting described in the above and foregoing
paragraph is attached to and follows this Certificate, that said
Ordlnance has been duly recorded ~n said C~ty Counc~l's m~nutes~=~=
said Meeting, that the above and foregoing paragraph is a true, full,
and correct excerpt from said City Council's minutes of said Meeting
pertaining to the passage of said Ordinance, that the persons named
in ~e above and foregoing paragraph are the duly chosen, qualified,
and acting officers and members of said C~ty Council as indicated
therein, and that each of the officers and members of said City
Council was duly and sufficiently notified officially and personally,
in advance, of the time, place, and purpose of the aforesaid Meeting,
and that said Ordinance would be introduced and considered for passage
at said Meeting, and each of said officers and members consented, ~n
advance, to the holding of said Meeting for such purpose, and that
said Meeting was open to the public as required by law
3 That the Mayor of said City has approved, and hereby approves,
the aforesaid Ordinance, that the Mayor and the City Secretary of said
Oity have duly signed said Ordinance, and that the Mayor and the City
Secretary of said City hereby declare that thell signing of this Cer-
tificate shall constitute the signing of the attached and following
copy of said Ordinance for all purposes
