OF DENTON~ TEXAS~ 1961~ AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A
PART OF PARTS II AND III OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON~ TEXAS~
BY ORDINANCE 61-19~ AND AS SAME MAP APPLIES TO
CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AK CITY LOTS 3 THRU 7 AND
9 THRU 14 OF CITY BLOCK 419 AND CITY LOTS 21
THRU 32 OF CITY BLOCK 412 AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL
CITY MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON~ TEXAS~ AND MORE
'PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
THE cOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON~ TEXAS~ HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I.
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas~ 1961~
adopted as a Part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13, of the
Code of Ordanances of the Caty of Denton, Texas~ under pro-
vlsaons of ordinance No 61-19~ and the same as hereby amended
as follows
All the hereanafter descrabed property as hereby removed
from the "D" - Dwellang Dlstrlct and "A-i" - Dwellang
D~stract as shown on saad map~ and all provasaons of
Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances
of the C~ty of Denton~ Texas~ as provaded by Ordinance
No 61-19~ shall hereafter apply to saad property as
"LR" - Local Retail Dastract in the same manner as other
property located an the "LR" - Local Retail D~strlct,
All that certain lot~ tract or parcel of land satuated
in the Caty and County of Denton~ Texas~ known as Caty
Lots 3 thru 7 and 9 thru 14 of Caty Block 419 and Caty
Lots 21 thru 32 of C~ty Block 412 in the Caty and
County of Denton~ Texas.
Section II
That the Caty Council of the Caty of Denton~ Texas~ hereby
fands that such change as ~n accordance wath a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the
Caty of Denton~ Texas~ and wath reasonable consaderatlon~ among
other thangs~ for the character of the dastract and for ars
peculiar suatablllty or partacular uses~ and wath a view to
conservang the value of the bualdangs, protectang human llves~
and encouragang the most appropraate uses of land for the
maximum benefat to the City of Denton and ats catazens
SECTION III.
nat this ordinance shall be an full force and effect
~mediately after ~ts passage and approval, the required
public hearzngs havmng heretofore been held by the Plannzng
and Zoning Com~ss~on and the C~ty Council of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas, after g~v~ng due not~ce thereof
