AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 67-27 AND THE
ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, 1961, AS
SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A PART OF PARTS II AND III OF
C~APTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 61-19, AND AS SAME
MAP APPLIES TO CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS LOTS 18, 19
AND 20 OF BLOCK 12 OF OWSLEY PARK ADDITION AS SHOWN
ON THE OFFICIAL PLAT FILED IN THE DENTON COUNTY
CLEP.KS OFFICE, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
HEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
S~CTION I
That the Zoning Map of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, 1961,
adopted as a Part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13, of the
Code of Ordlnances of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, under pro-
v~s~ons of Ordinance No 61-19, ~s hereby amended as follows
Ail the hereinafter described property ~s hereby removed
from the "R" - Dwelling D~str~ct as shown on sa~d map,
and apl provisions of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of
Appendix B to the Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas, as provided by Ordinance No 61-19, shall
hereafter apply to sa~d property as "A-2" - Dwelling
Distr~ct an the same manner as other property located
the "A-2" - Dwelling Dlstrlct,
Ail that certain lot, tract, or parcel of land s~tuated
an the C~ty and County of Denton, Texas, known as Lots
18, 19 and 20 of Block 12 of the Owsley Park Addition
to theClty of Denton known as 2402 West Prairie in the
City of Denton, Texas, and as C~ty Lot 11 of C~ty Block
3021

That the C~ty Counczl of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, hereby
f~nds tha~ such change as an accordance w~th a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the
City of Denton, Texas, and with reasonable conslderataon, among
other th~ngs, for the character of the distract and for its
peculiar suitability or particular uses, and w~th a v~ew to con-
serving the value of the buildings, protecting human l~ves, and
encouragang the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum
benefit to the C~ty of Denton, Texas and ats c~t~zens
S~CTION III
That this zoning change shall be condItioned upon the
lnstallat~on of all required parking fac~l~tles w~th~n the
above described area, and the validity of this entire ordinance
is based upon the fulfillment of sa~d condition
SECTION IV
That th~s ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect
~mmed~ately after ~ts passage and approval, the required
public hearings hav~ng heretofore been held by the Planning
and Zoning Co~mXlss~on and the City Council of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas, after giving due not~ce thereof, which led to
the enactment of Ordinance No 67-27 which referred to erroneous
Owsley Park lot and block numbers, which error th~s Ordinance
shall correct
