OF DENTON, TEXAS, 1961, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS
A PART OF PARTS II AND III OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF T~E CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
BY ORDINANCE NO 61-19, AND AS SAME MAP APPLIES
TO CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS CITY LOTS 5 AND 6
OF CITY BLOCK 423 AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL CITY
~ OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PART-
ICUL~[RLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS, AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I.
That the Zonang Map of the Caty of Denton, Texas, 1961,
adopted as a Part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13, of the
Code of Ordinances of theClty of Denton, Texas, under pro-
vasaons of Ordanance No 61-19, and the same as hereby amend-
ed as follows
All the hereinafter descrabed property as hereby removed
from the "A-2" - Dwelling Dastract as shown on said map,
and all provaeaons of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of
the Code of Ordanances of the City of Denton, Texas,as
provaded by Ordanance No 61-19, shall hereafter apply
to saad property as "LR" - Local Retaal District in
the same manner as other property located an the "LR" -
Local Retail Dastract,
All that certaan lot,tract or parcel of land satuated
in the Caty andCounty of Denton, Texas, known as City
Lots 5 and 6 of City Block 423 located on the west sade
of North Elm~ further descrabed as 901 and 903 North
Elm, an the Caty and County of Denton, Texas
SECTION II
That the City Council of the Caty of Denton, Texas,
hergby finds that such change Ks an accordance with a comp-
rehenslve plan for the purpose of promotang the general wel-
fare of the Caty of Denton, Texas, and wath reasonable consad-
eratxon, among other things, for the character of the dastract
and wath a vaew to conservang the value of the bulldangs,
pro~ectang human laves, and encouragang the most appropraate
uses of land for the maximum benefat to the Caty of Denton
and ars catazens
SECTION III.
That this ordlnance shall he an full force and effect
immediately after its passage and approval, the required
public hearings hav~ng heretofore been held by the Planning
and Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of
Denton, Texas, after giving due notice thereof
