OF DENTON, TEXAS, 1961, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A
PART OF PARTS II AND III OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
BY ORDINANCE NO 61-19, AND AS SAME MAP APPLIES
TO CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS CITY LOTS 1, 2, 3,
4, 5, 6, 7 AND 8 OF CITY BLOCK 261 AS SHOWN ON
THE OFFICIAL CITY MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DEC-
LARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
~'HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zonang Map of the Caty of Denton, Texas, 1961,
adopted as a Part of Parts IIland III of Chapter 13, of the
Code of Ordinances of the Caty of Denton, Texas, under pro-
vaslons of Ordanance No 61-19, and the same as hereby amend-
ed as follows
Ail the hereanafter descrabed property as hereby removed
from the "A-2" - Dwellang Dastract as shown on said map,
and all provadaons of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of
the Code of Ordmnances of the Caty of Denton, Texas, as
provaded by Ordanance No 61-19, shall hereafter apply
to saad property as "H-I" - Heavy Industraal in the
same manner as other property located in the "H-I" -
Heavy Industraal Dastract,
Ail of that certaan lot, tract or parcel of land satuated
an the Caty and County of Denton, Texas, known as City
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Caty Block 261 beang
located on the south sade of East Sycamore Street, east
of the MKT Raalroad tracks
SECTION II
That the City Council of the Caty of Denton, Texas, here-
by f%nds that such change as in accordance with a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promotang the general welfare of the
Caty,of Denton, Texas, and wath reasonable consaderataon,
among other things, for the character of the dastract and for
its peculiar sultabzlxty or partmcular uses, and wath a vaew
to conservang the value of the bualdangs, protecting human
lives, and encouraging the most appropraate uses of land for
the maxamum benefit tot he Caty of Denton and ats catazens
SECTION III.
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
~mmediately after ~ts passage and approval, the required
public hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning
and Zoning Con~n~ss~on and the C~ty Council of the City of
Denton, Texas, after giving due not~ce thereof
