BY ORDINANCE NO 61-19, AND AS SAME MAP APPLIES
TO CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS CITY LOTS 6 AND 7
OF CITY BLOCK 3031B A~ SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL CITY
MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PART"
'ICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I,
That the Zonxmg Map of the City of Denton, Texas, 1961,
adopted as a Part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13, of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, under pro-
vlsmons of Ordmnance No 61-19, and the same ms hereby amend-
ed as follows
All the heremnafter descrmbed property ms hereby removed
from the "R" - Dwellmng Dmstrmct as shown on samd map,
and all provmsmons of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of
the Code of Ordmnances of the Cmty of Denton, Texas, as
provmded by Ordmnance No 61-19, shall hereafter apply
to samd property as "LI" - Light Industrmal District mn
the same manner as other property located mn the "LI" -
Lmght Industrmal Dlstrmct,
All that certamn lot, tract or parcel of land situated
mn the Cmty and County of Denton, Texas, known as Cmty
Lots 6 and 7 of Cmty Block 3031B and more partmcularly
described as bemng located on the south and north smdes
of Amrport Road, west of the Santa Fe ramlroad tracts
SECTION II.
That the Cmty Councml of the City of Denton, Texas,
hereby finds that such change ms mn accordance wmth a comp-
rehensmve plan for the purpose of promotlng the general wel-
fare of the City of Denton, Texas, and with reasonable con-
smderatmon, among other thmngs, for the character of the
d~strict and for mrs peculmar sumtabmlmty or partmcular uses,
and with a vmew to conservmng the value of the bu~ldmngs,
protectmng human lmves, and encouraging the most approprmate
uses of land for the maximum benefit to the Cmty of Denton
and zts c~tlzem
