1967-025 ANiORDI~NCE RECEIVING AND ACCEPTING THE WORK CF
IMPROVING CERTAIN DESIGNATED STREETS IN THE CITY
OF DENTON, TEXAS
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS,
THAT
Ordinance No 65-25 , declaring the necessity for the ~m-
provements of the hereinafter named streets was passed on the
24th day of August , 19 65 A D , and Ordin-
ance No' 65-32 , closing the hearing and levying the assess-
ments was passed on the 14th day of September , 1965
A D , and the work of ~mprovlng the streets described on Exhibit
A, which ~s made a part hereof and attached hereto, has been
completed, the D~rector of Community Development of the C~ty of
Denton having measured, examined and caused %0 be tested the
fzn~shed improvements by the means and ~n the manner provided
by the terms of such contract and of plans and spec~f~catlons
there~n contained, and the Director of Community Development
hav~ng found that such ~mprovements have been constructed and
completed in full compliance with the terms of sa~d contract and
the plans and specifications %herein contained, and hav~ng ap-
proved and accepted said improvements, and hav~ng recommended
that the City Council accept said work and ~mprovements, ~t is,
accordmngly, ordered that said work and improvements have been
found by the Mayor and C~ty Council of the C~ty of Denton to
have been performed and completed ~n full compliance with the
terms of the sa~d contract and plans and specifications, the
same ~s now hereby accepted and approved by the Caty of Denton,
Texas

CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE
I, Robert L Pearce, Director of Community Development, of
the City of Denton, Texas, do hereby certify to the Honorable City
Council of said City that the work of improving the following streets
and portions thereof in the City of Denton, Texas, as described
herein, has been completed by Public Construction Company in
accordance with the terms of a contract entered into by and between
the City of Denton, Texas, and the said Public Construction Company
dated October 5, 1965, and that such improvements have been constructed
and completed in full compliance with the terms of such contract, and
with the plans and specificat~ons therein contained or referred to, and
I do hereby recommend that the Honorable City Council accept and
receive said work and improvements as constructed by the said Public
Construction Company, the said streets and portions thereof being
described as follows
