MORE PARTICULARLY DESCP~IBED HEREIN, AND DECLARING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I.,
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, 1961,
adopted as a Part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, under pro-
V~SlOnS of Ordinance No 61-19, and the same is hereby amend-
ed as follows
All the hereinafter described property ~s hereby removed
from the "D" Dwelling Dlstr~ct as shown on said map, and
all provisions of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, as pro-
v~ded by Ordinance No. 61-19, shall hereafter apply to
said property as "A-l" Dwelling District ~n the
same manner as other property located in the "A-i"
- Dwelling District
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land in the
City of Denton, Texas, known as City Lots 3,4,5,6,7,8,
10,11,12,13,14,15,17,18,19,20,21,22, and 23 of City
Block 420, bounded by Bollver Street on the West, North
Elm Street on the East, College Street on the North and
Third Street on the South
SECTION II.
,That the City Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas hereby
f~nds that such change is in accordance with a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the
City of Denton, Texas, and with reasonable consideration, among
other things, for the character of the dlstr~ct and for its
peculiar suitability or particular uses, and with a v~ew to
conserving the value of the buildings, protecting human l~ves,
and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the
maximum benefit to the City of Denton and its citizens

SECTION III.
That ~lS ordinance shall be in full force and effect
l~ed,lately after its passage and approval, the required
p~llc hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning
and Zoning Co~lsslon and the City Council of the C1~ of
Denton, Texas, after giving due notice thereof
