AN ORDINANCE
DIRECTING THE DELIVERY OF TIME WARRANTS
IN CONNECTION WITH IMPROVING THE CITY'S
, AIRPORT
THE STATE OF TEXAS

CITY OF DENTON
WHEREAS, on November 10, 1966, the City Counczl of the
Czty of Denton, Texas, passed an Ordznance authorzzzng the
zssuance of Time Warrants for the purpose of zmprovzng the Czty's
airport by constructzng a hangar and offzce buzldzng and a ten
unit tee hangar, and levyzng a tax for the payment of sazd
Warrants, acceptzng bzds for the constructzon of the Azrport
Improvements, and awardzng contracts pursuant thereto, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such ordznance, the followzng
bzd was accepted A & S Steel Buzldzngs, Inc , Dallas, Texas,
for the construction of one hangar and offzce bu~ldzng, zncludzng
15,000 square yards of asphalt pavzng, and for furnzshzng all
materials, supplzes, machznery, equzpment, tools, supervzszon,
labor, znsurance and other accessorzes and servzces necessary to
complete sazd constructzon, and
WHEREAS, sazd contract has been completed by the
Contractor and the City Engineer has znspected and approved the
work as completed and found zt to be zn full complzance wzth
the contract, and
WHEREAS, Warrants should now be zssued to the above
named Contractor,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
1 There shall be delzvered to A & S Steel Buzldzngs,
Inc , Dallas, Texas, Warrants Numbers 4 and 5 and 42 through
129, in the aggregate amount of $88,200 The balance of the
contract price zn the amount of $87 00 shall be pazd zn cash
2 It is hereby offzczally found and determined that
the above descrzbed contract has been fully performed and
satisfactorily completed by said Contractor and that the C~ty
of Denton, Texas, has recezved full value for the total amount
of time warrants herezn dzrected to be delzvered to sazd
Contractor, and that sazd warrants are delzvered for the purpose
for which they were authorized Warrants Numbers 6 through 16
and 130 through 135 will not be delzvered and the Czty Secretary
is hereby authorzzed and dzrected to cancel all of sazd
Warrants and to execute a certzfzcate to that effect
