1967-014 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF
DENTON, TEXAS, FORTHE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING ON
OCTOBER l, 1966 AND ENDING ON SEPTEMBER 30, 1967
AS SAME REGARDS CERTAIN TAX RATES OF ASSESSED
VALUATION, AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, AND DE-
CLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS

That the budget for the City of Denton, Texas, for the
fiscal year beglnnzng on October 1, 1966 and endzng on Sept-
ember 30, 1967 ~n words and f~gures as shown therein, finally
approved and adopted by the City Council, ~s hereby amended
as follows
(1) ESTIMATE AND DISTRIBUTION OF PROPERTY TAX REVENUE
' Tax rate for One Hundred Dollars of assessed,
valuation
General fund, proposed 1966-67, is changed from
9675 to 9825,
Interest and redemptlon fund, proposed 1966-67,
ls changed from 5325 to 5175
(2) PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
The recreatzon dmvzs~on of the Parks and Recreation
Department is hereby amended by providing a new
position of janitor for the newly constructed com-
munity buzldlng, for a fzve month period for a
total salary of One Thousand Three Hundred Dollars
($1,300), by increasing the recreation d~vlslon
ut~lzty account ~n the sum of Two Thousand Dollars
($2,000), by increasing its capital account zn the
sum of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250), by increas-
Ing zts supply account in the sum of Fzve Hundred
Dollars ($500), and by ~ncreaslng equzpment rental
Seven Hundred Dollars ($700)
SECTION II
That the City Manager shall cause copies of thzs budget
amendment to be filed w~th the Cmty Secretary, the County
Clerk of Denton County, and the State Comptroller of Public
Accounts
