PART OF PARTS II AND III OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
BY ORDINANCE NO 61-19, AND AS SAME MAP APPLIES
TO LOT 25 IN BLOCK 499 OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN,
AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, 1961,
adopted as a Part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13, of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, under pro-
visions of Ordinance No 61-19, be, and the same Ks hereby
amended as follows
Ail the hereznafter described property is hereby re-
moved from the "A-2" - Dwelling District as shown on said
m~p, and all provlszons of Parts II and III of Chapter 13
of the Code of Ordinances of the Czty of Denton, Texas,
as provzded by Ordinance No 61-19, shall hereafter apply
to sa~d property as "LR" - Local Retail D~str~ct ~n the
same manner as other property located zn~e "LR" - Local
Retail D~strlct,
Ail that certain property situated zn the City and County
of Denton, Texas, being Lot No 25, Block 499 of the
Official C~ty Plat of the C~ty of Denton, Texas on f~le
in the Cmty Tax Assessors office (located on the corner
of 424 Bryan)
SECTION II.
That the C~ty Council of the Czty of Denton, Texas, here-
by f~nds that such change ~s zn accordance wzth a comprehenslve
plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the
City of Denton, Texas, and wlth reasonable cons~deratzon, among
other ~ngs, for the character of the dzstrzct and for its
peculzar suztab~lzty or particular uses, and wzth a vzew to
conserving the value of the buzldlngs, protectlng human lives,
and encouraging the most approprmate uses of land for the
maxzmum benefit to the City of Denton and zts cltlzens
SECTION III
That thzs ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect
zmmedzately after ~ts passage and approval, the required
public hearings hav~ng heretofore been held by the Planning
and Zoning Commzsszon and the C~ty Council of the C~ty of
Denton, after gzv~ng due not~ce thereof
