1966-028 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
OF DENTON, TEXAS, 1961, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A
PART OF PARTS II AND III OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY
ORDINANCE NO. 61-19, AND AS SAME MAP APPLIES TO
LOTS ~m IN ~ THE FRY ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DES-
CRIBED HEREIN, AND DECLARING ANEFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I.
That the Zonang Map of the Caty of Denton, Texas, 1961,
adopted as a Part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13, of the
Code of Ordanances of the Caty of Denton, Texas, under the
provaslons of Ordanance No 61-19, be, and the same is hereby
amended as follows
Ail of the hereanafter descrabed property as hereby re-
moved from the "R" - Dwellang Dastract as shown on saad
map, and all provasaons of Parts II and III of Chapter
13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas,
as provaded by Ordanance No 61-19, shall hereafter apply
to saad property as "LB" - Local Busaness Dastract in the
same manner as other property located an the "LB" - Local
Busaness Dastract0
Ail that certain lot, tract or parcel of land sltuaeed
an the Caty of Denton, Denton County, Texas, beang known
and desagnated as all of Lot No. Eleven (11) and the
west one-half (W½) of Lot No Twelve (12) an Block F~ve
(5) of the Fry Addatlon to the Caty of Denton, Denton
County, Texas, beang a lot 150 feet north and south by
150 feet east and west, also known as Caty Lots Eight
(8) and Nane (9), Block 439 located at the northeast
corner of Sunset and Anna Streets
SECTION II.
That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby
fands that such change as an accordance wath a comprehensave
plan for the purpose of promotang the general welfare of the
Caty of Denton, Texas, and wath reasonable conslderataon, among
other thangs, for the character of the distract and for its
peculaar suatabllaty or partacular uses, and wath a vaew to
conservang the value of the bualdangs, protectang human laves,
and encouragang the most appropraate uses of land for the
maxamum benefit to the Caty of Denton and its catazens
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
Immediately after ~ts passage and approval, the requzred publzc
hearzngs having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Co~sslon and the ~zty Counczl of the C~ty of Denton, after
g~v~ng due not~ce thereof.
