1966-025 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, 1961, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A PART OP PARTS II AND III OF
CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON
TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 61-19, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOT 14
BLOCK 176 OF THE CITY OF DENTON TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I,
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas 1961 adopted as a
part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton,
Texas under the provisions of Ordinance No 61-19 be, and the same ~s hereby
amended as follows
All of the hereinafter described property ~s hereby removed from the "LB" -
Local Business and "R" - Dwelling District as shown on said map and all
provisions of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Denton, Texas, as provided by Ordinance No 61-19 shall hereafter
apply to said property as "A-2" - Dwelling D~strict m the same manner as
other property located in the "A-2"-Dwelhng Destruct,
City Lot 14, Block 176 as shown on the offlcml plat of the C~ty of Denton
on file in the Office of the Tax Assessor-Collector ThCs property fronts
on Ruddell Street
SECTION II
That the City Council, City of Denton Texas, hereby finds that such change
is m accordance w~th a comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting the general
welfare of the City of Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable cons~deration among other
things for the character of the district and for ~ts pecuhar sultabzhty or particular
uses, and w~th a vzew to conserwng the value of the bu¢ldCnga protechng human
hves and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum beneht to
the C~ty of Denton and its citizens
SECTION III,
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect lmmedCately after ~ts
passage and approval, the required pubhc hearings havzng heretofore been held by the
Planning and Zoning Commiss¢on and the City Council of the C~ty of Denton after g~v*ng
due notzce thereof
