1966-004 ORDINANCE NO 66-?~ ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF REVENUE BONDS THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF DENTON CITY OF DENTON WHEREAS, the bonds hereinafter authorized were duly and favorably voted, as requzred by the Constitution and laws of the State of Texas, at an election held in said City on the 30th day of January, 1960, and WHEREAS, out of the bonds voted at said electlon, the following previously have been issued and delivered $ 655,000 out of a voted total of $1,600,000, for the purpose of ~mproving and extendzng the Czty's Waterworks System, repre- sented by part of the bonds of Series 1960 and Series 1962, and $1,485,000 out of a voted total of $2,600,000, for the purpose of improving and extending the City's sewer System, represented by part of the bonds of Series 1960 and Serzes 1962, and the bonds of Series 1964, and WHEREAS, the bonds hereinafter authorized are to be ~ issued and delivered pursuant to Vernon's Artzcles 1111 through 1118, and said City's Home Rule Charter THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS Sectzon 1 That sazd Czty's coupon bonds to be REVENUE ,, ~ ~webv authorzzed to be issued and de- designated the "CITY OF DENTON WATER AiqD sEWER SYSTEM BONDS, SERIES 196~, .a~% ~Z~,,~ of $1,000,000 for the ~r_~?%e livered zn the prz~P~i.=~m~mUiNG AND EXTENDING THE U£'rY ~ of providing $340,00~ ~um z~'~ ....
