AN ORDINANCE REJECTING ANY AND ALL COMPETITIVE BIDS FOR A PUBLIC
WORKS CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS FOR
THE CITY OF DENTON AS SPECIFIED IN BID 4554-EAGLE DRIVE DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS PHASE I; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City has solicited, received and tabulated competitive bids for the
construction of public works or improvements in accordance with the procedures of State laws
and City ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager or a designated employee has received and recommended
that the herein described bids should be rejected and that the said construction project should be
re-bid; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The following competitive bids for the construction of public works or
improvements, as described in the "Bid Invitations", "Bid Proposals" or plans and specifications
on file in the Office of the City's Purchasing Agent filed according to the bid numbers assigned
herein are hereby rejected:
