Notice of Public Meeting for Aquatics Division
Programs and Facilities Focus Group
Denton Natatorium, May 10 at 6 p.m.
DENTON, TX, May 6, 2019—The City of Denton Parks and Recreation Department is hosting
a focus group meeting for public input on Aquatics Division programs and facilities from high
school coaching staff, Aquatics Committee members,program contractors, participants, and
interested users to supplement the Needs Assessment Survey as part of the future Parks,
Recreation, and Trails Master Plan.
The public meeting will be held on Friday, May 10 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room at Denton
Natatorium, 2400 Long Rd.
The Aquatics Division currently manages programming, operations, and maintenance for Denton
Natatorium, Civic Center Pool, and Water Works Park. Staff representatives from the Parks and
Recreation Department will be on site to receive input on current programs and facilities,
identify future trends and needs, and discuss potential new programs, events, and partnerships
that could be considered as part of the future master plan.
