Notice of Public Meeting for Outdoor Aquatic Facilities Focus Group
Denton Natatorium, June 4 at 6 p.m.
DENTON, TX, May 24, 2019—The City of Denton Parks and Recreation Department is hosting
a focus group meeting for public input on outdoor aquatic facilities from pass holders, renters,
participants, and interested users to supplement the Needs Assessment Survey as part of the
future Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan.
The public meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 4 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room at Denton
Natatorium, 2400 Long Rd.
The Aquatics Division currently manages programming, operations, and maintenance for Denton
Natatorium, Civic Center Pool, and Water Works Park. Staff representatives from the Parks and
Recreation Department will be on site to receive input on current and future aquatic facilities,
and to discuss potential new facilities and amenities that could be considered as part of the future
master plan.
