SUBJECT:
Report data collected by Fire Staff on local fire station construction projects.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This report is provided at the request of the City Council following work session on December
13, 2016 in reference to recently completed fire station projects in the North Texas area.
BACKGROUND:
The attachment provides information collected from thirteen fire station projects that have been
completed from 2013 to present. In attempt to compare, on an equivalent basis the listed projects
have similar type construction materials and components. Variations in the construction
processes have been noted in Exhibit #1.
Certain projects within this exhibit are deficient of information due to the lack of responsiveness
requested from the comparison survey.
