City Facilities Closed On Feb. 15 due to Inclement Weather
Public Safety and Other Essential City Services to Continue
DENTON, TX, Feb. 14, 2021—City of Denton facilities will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15 due
to inclement weather and are currently scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

and facility updates.
All essential staff, including Police, Fire, Denton Municipal Electric (DME), Streets, and
Utilities, will remain on duty. Remote services, such as utility billing and Municipal Court
services, will continue for most City departments. A full list of service impacts will be available
at www.cityofdenton.com/winterweather.
City facilities that serve as inclement weather stations will remain open for anyone in need of
shelter or assistance. See the attached list of locations for more information.
