AN ORDINANCE REJECTING ANY AND ALL COMPETITIVE BIDS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE COOPER CREEK INTERCEPTOR III PROJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. (BID 5125-COOPER CREEK 1NTERCEPTOR III).
WHEREAS, the City has solicited, received and tabulated competitive bids for the
construction of public worlcs or improvements in accordance with the procedures of State laws
and City ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager or a designated employee has received and recommended
that the herein described bids should be rejected and that the said construction project should be
re-bid; NOW THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The following competitive bids for the construction of public works or
improvements, as described in the "Bid Invitations", "Bid Proposals" or plans and specifications
on file in the Office of the City's Purchasing Agent filed according to the bid numbers assigned
herein are hereby rejected:
