WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2015-268, the City Council of Denton, Texas,
approved the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 Budget and Annual Program of Services (the 66Budget99);
and
WHEREAS, the City af Dentan desires to fund a Tree Inventory and Tree Canapy
Analysis af Denton; NOW, THEREFORE,

SECTION 1. The findings set forth in the above preamble to this Ordinance are true and
correct and�are hereby adopted.
TION 2. The Fiscal Year 2015-2016 Budget and Annual Program of Services is

hereby amended by the City Council as follows: to allow for an adjustment ta the Tree
Mitigation Fund of $92,850, increasing apprapriatians from $695,629 to $788,479.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be filed with the City Secretary, wha is directed to
attach a capy af this Ordinance ta the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 Budget and Annual Program of
Services.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance was appraved by at least five members of the City Council
as required by Section 8.08 of the City Charter,
SECTION 5. If any section, subsectian, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase, ar word in
this Ordinance, or the application thereof to any persan ar under any circumstances is held
invalid by any court af competent jurisdictian, such holding shall nat affect the validity of the
remaining partians of this Ordinance, and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby
declares it would have enacted such remaining portians despite any such invalidity.
TION 6. It is officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
