The City Manager, or his designee, is autharized to execute, for and on behalf af the City of Denton, any and all documents related to closing the transactions contemplated by the Agreement, including without limitatian, the Abandonment and Release. SECTION 3. If any section, article, paragraph, sentence, phrase, clause or word in this ordinance, or applicatian thereaf to any persons ar circumstances, is held invalid or unconstitutional by a court af competent jurisdictian, such holding shall not affect the validity af the remaining portions of this ordinance; the City Council declares that it would have ordained such remaining partion despite such invalidity, and such remaining portion shall remain in full force and effect.
