ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF TEXAS LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE
271.083, PROVIDING THE STATUTORY AUTHORITY FOR THE CITY TO PARTICIPATE
IN THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR THE

Government (H -GAC) has solicited, received, and tabulated competitive bids for the purchase of

that the described materials,or services can be purchased by

SECTION 1. That the numbered items in the following numbered file for materials,

in the referenced file, the City accepts the offer of the persons submitting the bids to the H -GAC
for such items, and agrees to purchase the materials, equipment, supplies, or services in
accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, standards, quantities, and for the specified
sums contained in the bid documents,• related documents filed with the H -GAC, . • the
purchase orders issued by
the City's ratification of bids awarded by H -GAC, the City Manager or his designated
representative is hereby authorized to execute the written contract; provided that the written
contract is in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and standards contained in
the Proposal submitted to H -GAC, quantities, and specified sums contained in the City's
purchase orders, and related documents herein approved and accepted.
SECTION 4. The City Council of the City of Denton, Texas hereby expressly delegates
the authority to take any actions that may be required or permitted to be performed by the City of
Denton under File 6407 to the City Manager of the City of Denton, Texas, or his designee.
SECTION 5. By the acceptance and approval of the above enumerated items, the City
Council hereby authorizes the expenditure of funds therefor in the amount and in accordance
with the approved bids.
SECTION 6. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and approval,
