AN ORDINANCE REJECTING ANY AND ALL COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS FOR
PRINTING SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF DENTON (RFP NUMBER 6426); AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City has solicited, received, and tabulated competitive proposals for
Printing Services for the City of Denton, RFP Number 6426, in accordance with the procedures
of State laws and City ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City that
the herein described proposals should be rejected; NOW THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:

CTION 1. The following competitive proposals for Printing Services as described in
the "Request for Proposals" on file in the Office of the City's Purchasing Department are hereby
rejected:

SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all necessary documents
for the rejection of said proposals.
SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of Denton, Texas hereby expressly delegates
the authority to take any actions that may be required, or permitted to be performed by the City
of Denton under RFP 6426 to the City Manager of the City of Denton, Texas, or his designee.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval,
