WHEREAS, the City has solicited, received and tabulated competitive bids far the
construction of Carl Young Splash Park Restroom for the City af Denton (IFB 6733) in
accordance with the procedures of State laws and City ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City that
the herein described bids shauld be rejected; NOW THEREFORE,

Propasals" ar plans and specifications on izle in the Office of the City's Purchasing Agent filed
accarding to the bid number assigned herein (for the construction af Carl Yaung Splash Park
Restroam far the City of Denton Bid Number 6733) are hereby rejected:

SECTION 3, The City Council of the City of Dentan, Texas hereby expressly delegates
the autharity to take any actians that may be required or permitted to be performed by the City of
Denton under the IFB 6733 to the City Manager of the City af Denton, Texas, or his designee.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
