WHEREAS, the Denton Fire Traditions is requesting the City of Denton ta participate
as a sponsar, at a level nat ta exceed $1,000 af in-kind services and resaurces, praviding fire
apparatuses and equipment, for the Dentan Traditions Calendar Fundraiser (66the event99), being
held on Saturday, Octaber 13, 2018 to raise financial suppart for the upcoming Denton
Firefighters Banquet; and
WHEREAS, in exchange for in-kind services and resources, the City af Denton will be
considered an event sponsar of the Denton Fire Traditions Calendar Fundraiser at a sponsorship
level equal to the total value of the sponsarship provided herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Cauncil finds that it is in the public interest and benefit to the
citizens af the City of Denton ta participate as a sponsor af in-kind services and resources,
providing fire apparatuses and equipment, at a level not to exceed $1,000, far the event; NOW,

SECTION 1. The City Cauncil finds that it is in the public interest and benefit to citizens
af the City of Dentan ta participate as a sponsor of in-kind services and resources for the event,
at a level nat to exceed $1,000, waiving fees for the use af fire apparatuses and equipment, and
said participation as a sponsor is hereby approved.
SECTION 2, This ordinance shall be effective immediately upan its passage and
approval.
