EXTENDINGAN EFFECTIVE DATE (FILE 5750 - ., CONTRACT
OIL COMPANY,TO R
authorizedWHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15-017 authorized a contract with Martin Eagle Oil Company,
Inc., for three (3) years in the amount of $12,500,000 under competitive proposals received by the
National IPA as awarded by the City of Fort Worth, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the staff having recommended, and the City Manager having recommende'i
to the City Council that an extension to the existing contract authorized by Ordinance No. 15-017
be authorized between the City and Martin Eagle Oil Company, Inc., for one year with th@
expenditure remaining the same; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the action taken herein is in the public interest;
THEREFORE,
SECTION 1. The findings and recitations contained in the preamble of this ordinance are
incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION2. The executed contract, authorized by Ordinance No. 15-017, is hereby
extended with Martin Eagle Oil Company, Inc., under File 5750 for one (1) year with no change
in the authorized expenditure.
SECTION 3. The City Council delegates the authority to the City Manager to take any
actions that may be required or permitted to be performed by the City of Denton under File 5750
to the City Manager of the City of Denton, Texas, or his designee.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval,
