WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 2013-079 and the Interlocal Cooperative Purchasing
Agreement between the City of Frisco and the City of Denton, the City of Frisco has solicited,
received, and tabulated competitive bids for the purchase of necessary materials, equipment,
supplies or services in accordance with the procedures of state law on behalf of the City of
Denton;
WHEREAS, Manager, or a designated employee, has reviewedand
recommended that the hereindescribedmaterials, equipment, i or services canbe
purchased by the City through the Interlocal Cooperative Purchasing Agreement at less cost than
the City would i` ! if bidding these items individually;and
WHEREAS, Councilprovided e City Budgetfor appropriation of
funds to be used for the purchase of the materials, equipment, supplies or services approved and

' SE ' CT " ION 2. By the acceptance and approval of the above numbered items set forth in
File 7003, the City accepts the offer of the persons submitting the bids to the City of Frisco for
such items and agrees to purchase the materials, equipment, supplies or services in accordance
with the terms, conditions, specifications, standards, quantities and for the specified sums
contained bid documents and related documents filed with the City of ! and the
purchase orders issued by
forthSECTION 3. Should the City and persons submitting approved and accepted items set
0' to enter into a formal written agreementresult of the City's
ratification of bids awarded by the City of Frisco, the City Manager, or his designated
representative, is hereby authorized to execute the written contract; provided that the written
contract is in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and standards contained in the
Proposal submitted to the City of Frisco, quantities and specified sums contained in the City's
purchase orders, and related documents herein approved and accepted.
SECTION 4. The City Council of the City of Denton, hereby expressly delegates the
authority to take any actions that may be required or permitted to be performed by the City of
Denton under this ordinance to the City Manager of the City of Denton, or his designee.
SECTION 5. By the acceptance and approval of the above enumerated bids, the City
Council hereby authorizes the expenditure of funds therefor in the amount and in accordance
with the approved bids.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval.
