AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, A TEXAS HOME-RULE MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION, REJECTING ANY AND ALL COMPETITNE BIDS UNDER IFB 7108
FOR THE SUPPLY OF PROFESSIONAL GROUP TRAVEL SERVICES FOR DENTON
SENIOR CENTER TRIPS ANY OTHER POTENTIAL GROUP TRAVEL NEEDS FOR THE
CITY OF DENTON; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE (IFB 7108).
WHEREAS, the City has solicited, received, and tabulated competitive bids for the
supply of professional group travel services for Denton Senior Center trips any other potential
group travel needs for the City of Denton (IFB 7108) in accordance with the procedures of State
laws and City ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City that
the herein described bids should be rejected; NOW THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The following competitive bids, as described in the "Bid Invitations", "Bid
Proposals" or plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City's Purchasing Agent filed
according to the bid number assigned herein (supply of professional group travel services for
Denton Senior Center trips any other potential group travel needs for the City of Denton Bid
Number 7108) are hereby rejected:

Denton under the IFB 7108 to the City Manager of the City of Denton, Texas, or his designee.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
