AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON APPROVING THE BRIERCLIFF PARK
MASTER PLAN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Briercliff Park Master Plan (BPMP) serves as a guide for the development
of a City of Denton Park.; and
WHEREAS, the City of Denton desires to adopt the Briemliff Park Master Plan for the City;
WHEREAS, the Briercliff Park consists of the property at the corner of State School Road
and
and Unicorn Lake Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the public’s best interest to adopt the BPMP; NOWTHEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The City of Denton Briercliff Park Master Plan, attached hereto is hereby
adopted as an official park master plan of the City of Denton.
SECTION 2. The attached plan shall be filed with the City Secretary.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
