AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, A TEXAS HOME-RULE MUNICWAL
CORPORATION, AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO ACONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF DENTON AND IMAGENET CONSULTING, LLC,AMENDING THE CONTRACT APPROVED BY CITY COUNCIL ON NOVEMBER 19, 2019,
TO ADD THE INTERLOCAL PURCHASING SYSTEM (TIPS) COOPERATIVE PROGRAMCONTRACTS : TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS PRODUCTS & SERVICES CONTRACT # 200105;
COPIER, FAX, MULTIFUNCTION MACHINES & SERVICES CONTRACT # 210103;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE (FILE 7134 – PROVIDING FOR AN AMENDMENT TOTHE ORDINANCE TO ADD THE TIPS COOPERATrVE PROGRAM CONTRACTS # 200105 &
# 210103)
WHEREAS, on November 19, 2019, City Council awarded a contract to ImageNet
Consulting, LLC. in the amount of§1,182,585.00, for a five (5) year lease of -90 digital copiers for
various City of Denton departments; and
WHEREAS, this procurement was undertaken as part of the City’s governmental
function; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the action taken herein is in the public interest;NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAnvs:
SECTION 1. The First Amendment, adding the cooperative contract from The Interlocal
Purchasing System (TIPS) Cooperative Program Contract # 200105 and # 210103 to the agreement
between the City and ImageNet Consulting, LLC, which is on file in the office of the Purchasing
Agent, is hereby approved, and the expenditure of funds therefor is hereby authorized in accordance
with said amendment which shall be effective upon the execution of the amendment referencedherein
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval.
