ORDINANCE NO. e&3
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE
EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS TO PAY THE DENTON CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT
(DCAD) THE CITY OF DENTON'S PORTION OF THE BUDGET ALLOCATION IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $374,255.24; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the 2008 proposed budget of the Denton Central Appraisal District was
submitted to the City of Denton on May 15, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the proposed budget contained a list showing each proposed position, the
proposed salary for the position, all benefits proposed for the position, each proposed capital
expenditure, and an estimate of the amount of the budget that will be allocated to the City of
Denton, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the 2008 proposed budget on May 15, 2007 by
Resolution No. R2007-105 in the amount of $345,529.00; and
WHEREAS, after finalizing the allocations, the City of Denton's annual allocation is
$374,255.24, a difference of $28,726.24; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The City Council approves the expenditure of funds of $345,529.00 and an
additional $28,726.24 not to exceed the amount of $374,255.24 for the budget of the Denton
Central Appraisal District.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval.
