ORDINANCE NO. aW - 116
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2008-020 TO INDICATE THE
ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR DISTRICTS I, 2, 3 AND 4; PROVIDING A SAVINGS
CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2008-020 is hereby amended by substituting
the following persons for election officials for Districts 1, 2, 3 and 4:
2. For District No. 1: Robbie Gober, Alternate Judge
3. For District No. 2: Melodic Pickett, Presiding Judge
4. For District No. 3: Dorothy Anderson, Presiding Judge, Jim Anderson,
Alternate Judge
5. For District No. 4: David Johnson, Presiding Judge, Joan Johnson, Alternate
Judge
SECTION 2. Save and except as amended hereby, all the provisions, sections,
subsections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, and phrases of Ordinance No. 2008-020 shall remain
in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval.
