,AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 10 02 (a) (1) 0P THE
CODE 0F 0RDINANCE8 OF TEE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
SO AS FO REDUCE THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE FOR BOWLING
IALLEYS PROM FIPT~ DOLLARS ($50 00) TO FIFTEEN DOLLARS
I($15 00), AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OP TEE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
'SECTION 1
That Article l0 02 (a) (1) of the Code of Ordinances of
the 0ity of Denton, Texas, be and same is hereby amended to
read [as follows-
"ARTIClE l0 02 BO1~LING ALLEYS
(a) L cen _ R ired
(1) Every person, firm, or corporation operating
or conducting a nine or ten pin alley used
or operated for profzt, by whatever name
called, constr~cted or operated upon the
principle of a bowling alley upon which pzns,
pegs, ~alls, rings, hoops or other devices
are used, without regard to the number of
tracks or alleys in the same building or
place, or whether the balls or other devices
are ~o~led or used by hand or otherwise, shall
first obtain a license for such business from
the City Secretar~y of the City of Denton, Te,xas,
and shall pay for such license at the time of
issuance the sum of Fifteen Dollars ($15 00)"
That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage
