SECTION 1. That Articl~ %.02 (b) of ~ho Code of Ordinances
of the City o~ Denton, Texss, be an~ tho s~ao is hereby
so as to hereafter road as follows.

SECTION 2. That Article ~ 03 (b) of tho Co~e of 0rdi~a~ces
of the City of Dentes, Texas, be a~d th~ sa~o is hereby
so as~to hereafter read as follows:
'~(b) ~0akwood Cemetery'
(1) The sum of Fifty Dollars (~50 00) shall be pa~d
for each full lot or space ~ 0akwoo8 Cemetery.
(2) The sura of Twonty-fmvo Dol~lars ($25 00) shall be
pa~d for each ~ot lot or space mn 0akwood
Cemetery."
$ECTION 2. That Article ~.06 (a) of the Code of Orcinances
of the Cztylof Denton, Texas, be and the same is hereby amended
so as. to hereafter read as follows:
"ARTICLE 5.06 CONCRETE WORK IN CItY CEL~EWERIES
(a) Petrol_t. R.e..qu. ired
(1) Any person or persons desirzng to erect monuments
or tombstones or perform concreto work in the
Czty Cemeteries shall fzrst obtain a wrztten
permit from the City Secretary and shall meet
and comply with all rules, specifications and
requirements of the Czty of Denton in regard *o
said cemeteries.
(2) A fee of Two Dollars and F~fty Cents ($2.50)
shall be pazd for each permzt issued under tho
terms of this Article
(3) Prior to the zssuance of any such permit, the
applicant shall file wzth the Ci+y Secretary a
corporate surety bond payable to the Mayor of
the City of Denton, Texas, and his successors
in office, in t~e amount of One Thousand Dollars
($1,000.00), conditioned that the princzpal shall
well and truly perform all contracts entered Into
by him for the orectzon of monuments or tombstones
or the performance of concrete work in the City
Cemeteries; and condztioned further that the
principal shall pay any and all damages to the
City of Denton, or an~ third party, incurred by
reason of the erection of ~onumeots and tombstones
or the performance of concrete work in the City
Cemeteries by the sazd principal"
~ That this ordinance shall become effective immedzately
upon its passage and approval as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of April, A.D. 1960.
