JACENT TO THE CITY'OF DENTON, TEXAS; BEING ALL THAT
LOT, TRACT OR PARCEL'OF LAND CONSISTING OF ~ 99 ACRES
LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN T~E COUNTY O? DENTON, STATE

ABSTRACT NO. 281, AND THE WESLEY POG~/E SURVEY/, ABSTRACT
NO. 1012; CLASSIPYING THE SA~E AS DWELLING DISTRICT
pROPERTY, AND DECLARING AN EFMECTIV~' ~ DATE.
WHEREAS, this ordinance was initially introduced at a regu-
lar meeting of the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, on
March'22, 1960, on the petition of George C. Deutsch of Denton,
Texas $ and
~WHEREAE, this ordinance has been published in full~ne time
in %he official newspaper of the City of Denton, Texas, /at least
30 days prior to effective date; and//
WHEREAS, an opportunity was afforded, at a pub~/zc hearing
held for that purpose on , 1960, for all
iuterssted persons to state their views and present evidence
bearing upon the annexation provided by this ol-dinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF DENTON HEREBY
ORDAINS:

That the hereinafter described tract of land be and the same
is hereby annexed to the City of Denton, Texas, and the same ms
made h~reby a part of said City and the land and any present and
future, inhabitants thereofm shall be entitled to all the rights
and pr~ivileges of other citizens of said City and shall be bound
by the ~acts and ordinancesi of said City now in effect or which
may hereafter be enacted and the property situated therein shall
be subject te and shall bear its pro-rata part of the taxes levmed
by the/City., The tract of, land hereby annexed is described as
