DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COD-MOIL OF THE CITY 0F DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECT~0N 1. That the Zoning and Use District Map of the
City of Denton, Texas, be amended as follows:
All of the North 40 feet of Lots 15 and 16, Block
28, Carroll Park Ad~ition to the City of Denton,
Texas, (Third Filing), is hereby removed from the
Dwelling District as shown on said map, and all pro-
visions of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Denton
' and the Zoning Map shall hereafter apply to said
propel'fy as Business DiStrict property and as other
property located in a Business District.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the Cl~N of Denton, Texas,
hereby fin~s that such change is in accordance with a comprehen-
sive plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of
the tCity o~f Denton, and with reasonable consideration, among
other things, for the character of the district and for its
peculiar suitability fe~ particula~ uses, and with a view to
conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the most
app~opr~a2e ~se ef such .land for the maximum benefit to the
City of Denton, Texas, and its citizens.
' SECTION 3~ That this o~dinanee shall be in full force
and effect in~uediately after its passage an~ approval, the
requtre~ l~lblie hearings having heretofore been held by the
Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Coa~cil.
