TEE 0ITY 0F DE~TON, TEXAS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH ~CTION
7.20 0F TEE CITY 0HARTER; PROVIDING THE COMPEN~ATION
TO BE PAID TO I~EMBERS OF ~AID BOARD; AND DECLARING AN
EFFEOTI~FE DATE.
WHEREA~, it appea~s to the City Council that Joe ~ktles,
Raymond Pitts and Clayton Atkins have the qualifications for
members of the Board of Equalization as provided in Section
7.20 of the City Charter; now therefore
THE COUNCIL OF TWE, CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the said Joe ~kiles, Raymond Pitts and
Clayton Atkins be and they are hereby appointed members of the
Boa~d of Equalization of the City of Denton, Texas, for the
year 1960.
~EOTION 2, That Joe ~kiles be and he is hereby appointed
Chairman of the Board.
~ECT~ON 3. Each member of the Board shall serve without
pay.
SE~TION 4. This ordinance shall become effective i~-muediately
upon its p~ssage.
