HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, IN THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
WITHIN THE LIMITS IIEREINAFTER DEFINED, PERFORMED
BY PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION COMPANY; AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF SPECIAL
'ASSESSMENT IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; AND DECLARING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
That the work of improving the following streets and por-
tions thereof in the City of Denton, Texas, to wit:

by excavatimg, grading and paving the same, by the installation of
drainage facilities therein, and by the construction of curbs and
gutters where the Director of Public Works determined that adequate
curbsI and gutters did not exist, such paving consisting of a two
inch (29 Hot Mix Asphaltic Concrete pavement on a six inch (6")
asphalt stabilized base, and doing of other work incidental thereto,
all as provided for in, and in accordance with the plans and specifi-
cations for such improvements, having been performed and completed
in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Contract and the
plans, and specifications therein contained, dated April ll, 1960,
between the City of Denton, Texas, and Public Construction Company;
and th® Director of Public Works of the City of Denton having
measu~'ed, examined and caused to be tested the finished improve-
mentsI by the means and in the manner provided for by the terms of
such contract and the plans and specifications therein contained,
and the said Director of Public Works having found that such im-
provements have been constructed and completed in full complaince
with ~ttie terms of such contract and the plans and specifications
therelin contained, and having approved and accepted said improve-
mentsl and work and having heretofore issued his Certificate of
Accep~tance, and having so certified to the City Council of the
City ~of Denton, Texas, and having recommended that such City Council
accep't and receive said work and improvements as constructed by
the slaid Public Construction Company, and said work and improvements
having been found by the ,City Manager, the Mayor and the City
Council of the City of Denton, Texas, to have been performed and
completed in full compliance with the terms of said contract and
plans and specifications, the same are hereby now accepted and
approved by said City Council of the City of Denton, Texas.

wf~h the seal of said Ci~y, and da~ed as of ~he date of this
oPdina~ce, ~d s~ch offtcePs ~e hePeby authorized and diPec~ed
to execute said cep~Ificates tn %helm official capacities on
behalf of said Ci~y.
This o~dinance shall become effective i~ediately upon its
passage and approval.
