1961-004 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 9.29 0F THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES 0F THE CITY 0F DE~0N, TEXAS, S0 AS TO
HE~UIRE AN ANNUAL FEE FOR THE ISSUANCE OF M1~K PER-
MITS IN THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS; AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0F DENTON ~REBY ORDAINS:
.SECTION 1.... That Article 9.29 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Denton, Texas, be and the same is hereby amended
so as to hereafter read as follows:
"AP~IOLE 9.29 PERMITS
(a) p~e_~rmit Require~.
(1) It shall be unlawful for any person to
bring into, send into or receive into
the City of Denton, Texas, or its police
Jurisdiction, for sale, or to sell, or
offer for sale therein, or to have in
storage where milk or milk products are
sold or served, any ,ailk or milk products
defined in Pa~t V of this Chapter, who
does not possess a permit from the Health
Officer of the City of Denton.
(2) Application for permits shall be made
annually to the City Health Officer of
the City of Denton, Texas. If such
application is approved by the Healt x
Officer, he shall issue a permit upon
the payment of the annual permit fee of
One Dollars (~ 1.~0 ,,,,~'"
SECTION....2.. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
