AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 10 01 (c) OF AHE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DE~T2ON, TEXAS,, SO AS TO
REQUIRE A CORPORATE SURETY BOND IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000) PRIOR TO THE ISSUA~TCE OF A
LICENSE TO ENGAGE IN THE BUSINESS OF BAGGAGE HAULING
IN THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS; AND DECLARING AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SEOTION....1. That Article 10.01 (c) of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Denton, Texas, is hereby amended so as to hereafter
read as follows:
"ARTICLE 10 01 BAGGAGE HAULERS
(c) Bond Required
Prier to the issuance of any license as
aforesaid, the applicant shall make and
execute a good and sufficient corporate
surety bond. payable to the Mayor of the
City of Denton. Texas, and his successors
in office, in the amount of One Thousand
Dollars ($1,000) conditioned tha~ the
principal shall obey all ordinances of the
city of Denton, Texas, applicable to him
in said businesm and will pay any and all
damages to the City of Denton or to any third
party which the principal may become legally
~bli~ated to pay by reason of the conduct
and operation of said business."
SECTION 2. lhls ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
