AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
DENTON~ TEXAS, 1961, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A PART
OF PARTS II AND III OF cHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE
NO 61-19, AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO CERTAIN PROPERTY ON
THE NORTH SIDE OF STELLA STREET IN THE CITY OF DENTON~
TEXAS~ AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, SO AS
TO REMOVE SAID PROPERTY FROM THE "R" - DWELLING DIS-
TRICT AND PLACING THE SAME IN THE "A-2" - DWELLING
DISTRICT, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1 That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas,
1961, adopted as a part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, under the pro-
visions of Ordinance No 61-19 be, and the same is hereby, amended
as follows:
All of the hereinafter described property is hereby re-
moved from the "R~ - Dwelling Dlstrzct as shown on said
map, and all provisions of Parts II and III of Chapter
13 of the Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of Denton,
Texas, as provided by Ordinance No 61-19, shall here-
after apply to said property as "A-2' - Dwelling
Dzstrlct property zn the same manner as other property
located in an "A-2" - Dwelling District:
Ail that certain lot, tract or parcel of
land located on the North szde of Stella
Street, belng Lots 16 to 20, ~nclus~ve,
Block 3, owsley Park Addition, Lots 7 to
10, lncluslve, Block 2, Owsley Park Add~-
tlun, and the South 100 feet of Lots 11
and 12, Block 2, Owsley Park Addition
~ The City Council of the City of Denton, Texas,
hereby finds that such change zs zn accordance w~th a compre-
hene~ve plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare
of ,the City of Denton, and with reasonable consideration, among
other things, for the character of the d~str~ct and for ~ts
peculiar suitability for particular uses, and with a v~ew to
conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the most
appropriate use of such land for the maximum benefit to the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, and Its c~t~zens
~ECTIO~ 3 That this ordinance shall be ~n full force and
effect lmmedlately after lts passage and approval, the required
public hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and
Zoning Commission and the City Council
