1962-009 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON~ TEXASt 1961, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A PART OF PARTS II AND III OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF OP~DINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON~ TEXAS~ BY ORDINANCE ~O. 61~-19, AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO CERTAIN PROPERTY IN CITY BLOCK NO. 261 ABUTTING ON EAST PRAIRIE STREET IN ~HE CITY OF DENTON~ TEX~S~ AND MORE PARTICULARLY DE- 'SCRIBED HEREIN AS TRACT NO. 1~ SO AS TO REMOVE SAID ~ROPERTY FROM THE "LI" - LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AND PLACING THE SAME IN THE "LR" - LOCAL RETAIL DISTRICT, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO CERTAIN PROPERTY IN CITY BLOCK NO. 263 ABUTTING ON EAST PRAIRIE STREET ~IN THE CITY OF DENTON~ TE~S~ AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AS TRACT NO 2, SO AS TO REMOVE iSAID PROPERTY FROM THE "LI" LIGHT II~DUSTRIAL DIS- ,TRICT AND PLACING THE SAME IN THE "LR" - LOCAL RETAIL DISTRICT, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO CERTAIN PROPERTY lin CITY BLOCK NOS 245, 246, and 247 ABUTTING ON EAST PRAIRIE STREET IN THE CITY OF DENTON~ TEXAS~ AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN AS TRACT NO 3~ SO AS TO REMOVE SAID PROPERTY FROM THE "LI" - LIGHT INDUS- ITRIAL DISTRICT AND PLACING THE SAME IN THE "LB" - ~LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS iSECTION 1 That the Zoning Map of the Cmty of Denton, Texas, 1961~ adopted as a part Df Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the Code~of Ordmnances of the Cmty of Denton, Texas, under the pro- vmsmons of Ordmnance No 61-19 be, and the same ms hereby, amended as follows: Ail of the heremnafter descrmbed property ms hereby re- ,moved from the "LI" - Lmght Industrmal Dlstrmct as shown ,on samd map, and all provmsmons of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordmnances of the Cmty of Denton, Texas, as provmded by Ordmnance No 61-19, shall hereafter apply to samd property as "LR" - Local Retail D~strmct property mn the same manner as other property located mn a "LR" - Local Retaml Dmstrmct- TRACT NO. 1 BEGINNING at a poznt ~n the North lzne of East ~aar~e Street, hezng the Southwest corner of City Lot No 19, Block No 261, now owned by Rufus Ebron, THENCE North with the West l~ne of Lot No 19 to the Northwest corner thereof, THENCE East along the North l~ne of Lot No 19, 18, 17, 16 and to the Northeast corner of Lot No 15, THENCE South w~th the East lzne of Lot No 15 to the Southeast corner thereof, a poznt for a corner, THENCE West with the South lane of Lot Nos 15, 16, 17, 18 and to the Southwest corner of Lot 19, the place of beglnnang Bezng all of Lots 9, 10, 11, 12 13 and the West 16 feet of Lot 8 of Block 1, Jasper Add~taon.
