OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DENTON, TEXAS, ON AUGUST ~ , 1962, IN THE COUN-
CIL ROOM IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING OF THE SAID CITY
AT .~ OO ~.M., TO CONSIDER A CHANGE IN THE ZONING
REGULATIONS PRESENTLY GOVERNING THE "A-l" - DWELL-
ING DISTRICTS AS ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE NO 61-
19, SUCH PROPOSED CHANGE BEING MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED HEREIN; ;~ AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas,
hals ordered a study of a proposed change in the zoning regu-
lations presently governing the "A-l" - Dwelling Districts
asl established by Ordinance No 61-19 so as to allow the
us~ of ~roperty in such "A-i'J - Dwelling Districts for medical,
dental and/or professional clinics or offices housing not to
exceed two doctors, dentists or other professional persons,

WHEREAS, ~ appears desirable to hold the publlc hear-
lng of the City Council on such proposal 3ointly w~th the
public hearing required to be held by the Planning and Zon-
~n~ Commission, under the prov~sions of Article 1011f, Revised
Ciwil Statutes of Texas, as amended by Acts 1961, 57th Leg ,
p 570, ch 267, sec 1, now therefore
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION L That a joint public hearing of the Planning
an~ Zoning Commission of the City of Denton, Texas, and the
City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, shall be held on
