AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, 1961, AS SAME WAS
ADOPTED AS A PART OF ~RTS II AND III OF
CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO
6~.-19, AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO CERTAIN PRO-
PERTY DESIGNATED AS THE WEST 22 2 FEET
OF ~.0~ 12, BLOCK 2, FRY ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND ALL OF LOTS 2, 3,
6, 7, 10, AND 11, BLOCK 2, FRY ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, SO AS TO REMOVE
SAID PROPERTY FROM "R"- DWELLING DISTRICT
AND PLACING THE SAME IN THE "A-2"- DWELLING
DISTRICT~ AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1 That the Zoning Map of the City of
Denton, Texas, 1961, adopted as a part of Parts II
and III of Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Denton, Texas, under the provisions of Ordinance
No 61-19 be, and the same is hereby, amended as follows
Ail of the hereinafter described property is
hereby removed from the "R"-Dwelling District
as shown on said map, and all provisions of
Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, as
provided by Ordinance No 61-19, shall here-
after apply to said property as "A-2"- Dwelling
District property in the same manner as other
property located in the "A-2"- Dwelling Distrlct
The west 22.2 feet of Lot 12, Block 2, Fry
Addition, and all of Lots 2, 3, 6, 7, 10,
and 11, Block 2, Fry Addition, out of the
R Bauumont Survey, Abstract 31
SECTION 2 The City Council of the City of
Denton, Texas, hereby finds that such change is in
accordance w~th a comprehensive plan for the purpose
of promoting the general welfare of the C~ty of Denton,
and with reasonable consideration, among other th~ngs,
for the character of the district and for its peculiar
suitability for particular uses, and with a view to
conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the
most approprlate use of such land for the maximum
benefit to the City of Denton, Texas, and its citizens
SECTION 3 That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect immediately after its passage and
approval, the required publzc hearings havzng hereto-
fore been held by the Planning and Zoning Commission
