AN ORDINANCE AMENDINO TI~E ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, 1961, AS SAME WAS
ADOPTED AS A PART OF PARTS II AND III OF
CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO. 61-19,
AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO CERTAIN PROPERTY ABUT-
TING ON NORTH EL~ STHEET IN THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AND MO~E PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN,
AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1~ That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton,
Texas, 1961, adopted as a part of Parts II and III of
Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton,
Texas, under the provisions of Ordinance No. 61-19 be, and
the s~me is hereby, amended as follows
Ail of the hereinafter described property is
hereby removed from the "R"- Dwelling District
as shown on said map, and all provisions of
parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, as
provided by Ordinance No. 61-19, shall here-
after apply to said property as "A-2"- Dwelling
District property in the same manner as other
property located in the "A-2"- Dwelling Districts
Ail that certain lot or parcel of land situated
in the City and County of Denton, Texas, in the
Nelson H. Meisenheimer Survey, and being more
particularly described as follows~
Being all of Lot 2, Block 416-A, as shown on
the Official City Map of the City of Denton,
Texas, and being a tract of land 150 X 300 feet.
S~CTIC~2. The City Council of the City,of Denton,
Texas, hereby finds that such change is in accordance with
a comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting the
general welfare of the City of Denton, and with reasonable
consideration, ~mong o~her things, for the character of
the district and for its peculiar suitability for particular
uses, and with a view to conserving the value of buildings
and enoour~ing the most appropriate use of such land for
the maximum benefit to the City of Denton, Texas, and its
citizens.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in full
fo=ce and effect immediately after its passage and approval,
the required public hearings having heretofore been held
by the Planning and Zoning Co~mission and the City Council.
