AN OBDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF DENTOn, TEXAS, 1961, AS SAME WAS
ADOPTED AS A PART OF PARTS II AND III OF
C~APTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO. 61-19,
AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOTS 20, 21 AND 22,
BLOCK 7, OF THE OWSLEY PARK ADDITION, AN AD-
DITION TO THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS; AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ma~ of the City of
Denton, Texas, 1961, adopted as a part of Parts II and
III of Chapter 13 of the code of Ordinances of the City
of Denton, Texas, under the provisions of Ordinance No.
61-19 be, and the same is hereby, amended as follows
Ail of the hereinafter described property is
hereby removed from the "D" - Dwelling District
as shown on said map, and all provisions of Parts
II and III of Cha~ter 13 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Denton, Texas, as provided by
Ordinance No. 61-19, shall hereafter apply to
said property as "A-2" - Dwelling District property
in the same manner as other property located in
the "A-2" - Dwelling District-
Ail that certain lot or parcel of land situated in
the City and County of Denton, Texas, and being more
particularly described as follows:
Ail of Lots 20, 21 and 22, Block 7, Owsley Park
Addition, an addition to the City of Denton, Texas
~ECTI0~ 2, The City Council of the City of Denton,
Texas, hereby finds that such change is in accordance with
a comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting the
general welfare of the City of Denton, and with reasonable
consideration, among other thing~ for the character of the
district and for its peculiar suitability for particular
uses, and with a view to conserving the value of buildings
and encouraging the most appropriate use of such land for
the maxin~m benefit to the City of Denton, Texas, and its
aitizens.
SBCTI~N 3~ That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect i~meaiately after its passage and approval,
the re(~ulred public hearings having heretofore been held by
the Planning and Zoning COmmission and the City Council.
