1963-025 AN ORBII'~NO~ ~ROV~D~N~ FOR TI'~ D~S~O$~TION~ AFTER A ~ER~OD OF TIM~ OF TI'-~ CORPORaTiON COUR~ R~O~, ~T, A~ DEC'RING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THE COUNCIL OF THE CI~ OF DENTON ~BY O~AINS SECTION I ~at the Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, · s hereby amended so as to include new Article 7 09 ~n Chapter Seven of said Code of Ordinances which shall hereafter read as follows ARTIC~ 7 09 CORPO~TION COURT ~CO~S It shall be the duty of the clerk of the Corporation Court to preserve the records of sa~d court, ~ncludlng the dockets, for a period of at least one year following the f~nal d~spos~t~on of any particular cause or until the end of the f~scal year during which the particular cause arose, and thereafter the same may be disposed of, or destroyed, upon authorization of the City Attorney, after it has been ascertained that such records are of no value, provided, however, that the m~nutes of the court as bound ~n a permanent volume which show the f~nal d~Sposltlon of each and every case coming ~nto such court shall be f~led away and preserved as a permanent record and may be used for such purposes as are authorized by law SECTION II That th~s Ordinance shall become effective ~ed~ately upon ~ts passage A D 1963 Warren ~tson, Jr , ~yor City of Denton, Texas ~~~ty Secretary C~ty of Denton, Texas APPROVE~ AS ~ LEaL FORM Ja~Q Barton, C~ty Attorney C~y of Denton, Texas
