NANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO
61-19, A~D AS SAID MAP ~PPLIES TO LOT 16, BLOCK 233,
AS SHOWlq ON THE OFFICIAL CITY MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AND MOP~ PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1 That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton,
Texas, 1961, adopted as a part of Parts II and III of Chapter
13 of the Code of Ordinances of the c~ty of Denton Texas, under
the provisions of Ordinance No 61-19 be, and the same ls hereby
amended as follows
All of the hereinafter descrlbed property ls hereby
removed from the "R" - Dwelling D~str~ct as shown on
said map, and all provisions of Parts II and III of
Chapter 13 of the code of Ordinances of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas, as provided by Ordinance No 61-19,
shall hereafter apply to said property as "LB" -
Local Business D~str~ct property in the same manner
as other property located ~n the "LB" - Local Busi-
ness District
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situat-
ed in the City and County of Denton, Texas, and being
more particularly descr]Ded as follows
Being all of Lot 16, Block 233, as shown on the Official
City Map of the City of Denton, Texas
SECTION 2 The City Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas,
hereby flnds that such change ~s in accordance with a comprehen-
sive plan for the purpose of promoting the 9eneral welfare of
the City of Denton, and with reasonable consideration, among
other things, for the character of the d~str~ct and for its
peculiar suitability for particular uses and w~th a view to
conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the most
appropriate use of such land for the maximum benefit to the
City of Denton, Texas, and its c~t~zens
SECTION 3 That this Ordinance shall be an full force and
effect ~mmediately after its passage and approval, the required
public hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and
Zoning Commission and the City Council
