,AN ORDINANCE AMF_.NDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
OF DENTON, TExAs, 1961, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A
,PART OF PARTS II AND III OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF TH~ CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY
ORDINANCE NO 61-19, AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOTS
4 2, 5, 5 1, 5 2, 5 3, 5 4, 6, 7, 7 1 AND 8 IN
BLOCK 393 AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL CITY MAP OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED HEREIN; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS.
SECTION 1. That the Zoning ~mp of the City of Denton,
Texas, 1961, adopted as a part of Parts II and III of Chapter
13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas,
under the provisions of Ordinance No 61-19 be, and the same
is hereby, amended as followsx
Ail of the hereinafter described property is hereby
removed from the "A-l" - Dwelling District as shown
on said map, and all provisions of Parts II and III
of Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Denton, Texas, as provided by Ordinance No 61-19,
shall hereafter apply to said property as "A-2" -
Dwelling District property ~n the same manner as
other property located in the "A-2" - Dwelling District:
Ail those certain lots, tracts, or parcels
of land lying on the North side of Eagle
Drive from Avenue C to Avenue D in the City
of Denton, Texas and being more particularly
described as follows~
Being all of LOtS 4 2, 5, 5 1, 5 2, 5 3, 5 4,
6, 7, 7 1 and 8 in Block 393 as shown on the
official city map of the City of Denton, Texas
, SECTION 2 The City Council of the City of Denton, Texas,
hereby finds that such change is in accordance with a compre-
hensive plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare
of ~he City of Denton, and with reasonable consideration, among
other things, for the character ~ the district and for its
peculiar suitahili~ for particular uses, and with a view to
conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the most
apprQpriate use of such land for the maximum benefit to the
City of Denton, Texas, and its citizens
SE~ION 3 That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect immediately after its passage and approval, the required
public hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and
Zoning CO~mission and the City Council
